Locomotive Overhauls
C.J.S Heritage Engineering offers services to heritage railways across the Uk from standard gauge to narrow gauge we undertake all aspects of repairs, overhauls and general maintenance.

Recent works include the restoration and re gauging of two RNAD Flat wagons for the Glyn Valley Tramway, Chirk. The chassis were stripped, blast cleaned, painted and fitted out with new treated boards.
We also undertook the cosmetic restoration and regauging of an RNAD box van also for the Glyn Valley Tramway which can be seen in the platform at Chirk.

Ongoing works include the bottom end overhaul of 2ft gauge quarry Hunslet "Alan George" for the Tefi Valley Railway. The engine has been stripped down to the frames and the various components inspected and assed prior to works starting.
​
The Loco frames have been blasted and are now primed and painted. The cylinders and various other components are now in progress as we aim to rebuild the chassis over the next couple of months.
